According to mine analysis, based on the activities happened and happening in the world. We are shifting towards the formation of one-world/global government. The prediction may become a reality in next 30 years. Well, this is mine rough analysis and not a deep research has been done on it.
One world government would actually be very good for earth. It would be able to regulate whole earth itself without depending on long list of unbalanced nations.
The main reason of formation would be to prevent the new problems arising at global level with modernization. The formation of terrorists groups & organization, dividing the land using religious tactics, Massacre of innocent peoples, Global climate change, Diminishing resources on earth, increasing pollution etcetra are few of the whole set of reasons.
International organizations are working on almost all of this issues but they do not have authority to control the nations internal mechanisms and activities of their government. Therefore, A need of global government would arise sooner.
